Through this initiative, participants will enhance their physical strength, resilience, and leadership skills while cultivating a sense of national pride and a commitment to serving their country. The program is guided by the expertise of renowned mountaineer Mr. Sohan Tanwar, whose extensive experience brings both global insights and local knowledge to the training process. Under his leadership, the program offers a well-structured, rigorous approach to mountaineering, ensuring participants are equipped with the necessary skills and mindset for success. By empowering young women and exposing them to the thrilling world of mountaineering, the Rise Foundation aims to foster a new generation of mountaineers from Rajasthan who are ready to represent their region and nation on the international stage. This initiative serves not only to strengthen the capabilities of women in adventure sports but also highlights the natural beauty and rugged landscapes of Rajasthan, positioning it as an emerging destination for mountaineering on the world map.

The Rise Foundation’s mountaineering program has made an extraordinary achievement by successfully guiding a group of 15 adolescents from Rajasthan to the summit of Patalsu Peak at an elevation of 4,200 meters, under harsh conditions with a temperature of -10°C. Between May 10 and May 15, 2023, this group, including 11 girls and 4 boys, demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination by unfurling the Indian tricolor flag at the peak. Led by Ms. Maina Godha, the camp leader from Jodhpur, and supported by the expertise of LET’S CLIMB THE HIMALAYA and Sherpa Mr. Khimiram, the expedition was both a challenging and empowering experience for participants, many of whom came from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. This historic accomplishment has earned recognition in the World Record Book (Registration Number: 0002217, dated June 17, 2023), cementing the Rise Foundation’s reputation as a pioneer in promoting mountaineering excellence and youth empowerment across diverse communities.
When we think of other peoples lives as linked to our own, our empathy grows. They’ve demonstrated an amazing ability to help build a brighter and better future for our country.
