Prerak Parvati – A Beacon of Change

Parvati, Resident at Asada, now role of Prerak, My Space Camp.

Her Journey: Parvati, from a farmer family in Asada, faced many struggles in life. In 2024, her association with Rise Foundation transformed her path. Through training, she gained the skills and confidence to support adolescent girls who were deprived of education.

Her Actions: Identified out-of-school girls in her village. Supported them in enrolling in the Rajasthan State Open Board (RSOS). Established a community learning camp with the help of parents and local stakeholders. Introduced creative teaching methods like charts, pictures, and activities to make learning engaging. Organized weekly parent meetings every Saturday to share progress and build trust.

The Impact: Dozens of girls re-enrolled in education. Increased camp attendance and enthusiasm for learning. Parents became active supporters of their daughters’ education. A stronger community commitment towards girls’ empowerment.

Parvati Says that “I want every girl in my village to get the education she deserves. Education is not only for the classroom, it is the key to changing lives.”
